Your classic, favorite apple crisp dish…but make it healthy and add a little more protein! 👌
This makes the perfect breakfast dish and tastes great on its own warmed up, or in a bowl with milk.
Ingredients:
• 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder (I use MacroSupps Vanilla One Ice Cream)
• 1/3 cup Kodiak Power Cake mix
• 1/2 cup Old Fashioned Oats
• 2 tsp granulated Stevia or sugar alternative
• 2 tsp ground Cinnamon
• Pinch of Salt
• 1/2 tap Baking Powder
• 2 Granny Smith Apples (diced)
• water
Directions:
Start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees. Begin cutting and dicing your apples. Add your diced apples to a mixing bowl with a splash of water. Add 1 tsp stevia & 1 tsp Cinnamon and toss well, set aside. In a seperate bowl, add all dry ingredients - 1/3 cup Kodiak cake mix, 1/2 cup oats, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp stevia and pinch of salt and stir. Add approximately 1/2 cup water slowly (or more, I eyeball this and go slow!) until batter consistency is reached. Spray an 8x8 baking dish with non stick spray and add your apples first, then add your batter spread evenly on top. Bake for 20-25 min until crispy and golden brown! enjoy!! ☺️
