Protein packed power breakfast sandwich

The perfect post-workout (or anytime) breakfast sandwich! Nothing like a savory & sweet breakfast! 🧇 Not only is it incredibly yummy, it also packs a huge punch of protein keeping you full and satisfied all morning.👌 Pull out your mini waffle maker and skillet for this quick and easy breakfast. 🍳

Ingredients:

•1/4 cup Kodiak Power cake mix

•1/2 scoop Vanilla (or chocolate) Whey casein blend protein powder

•1/2 cup water

•1 egg liquid white

•1 whole egg

•1 thin sliced low fat mozzarella cheese

•1 lean turkey sausage patty (you can find these in the frozen section of your grocery store!)


Directions:

Start by heating and spraying your mini waffle maker and skillet with EVOO spray. In a bowl, mix your kodiak cake mix, protein powder and water. mix well until pancake batter consistency is reached. Place 2 full tbsp batter into mini waffle maker and cook. While your first waffle is cooking, in a separate bowl, whisk your egg white and whole egg with a dash of salt and pour into skillet. Cook in thin layer as and flip halfway through. When fully cooked you will fold up the eggs for your sandwich. Fold & set eggs aside. Remove your first waffle from mini waffle maker and cook second waffle using the remaining batter. While second waffle is cooking, cook your turkey sausage patty according to directions on the bag. When second waffle and turkey sausage is finished cooking, assemble your sandwich. Don’t forget the cheese! YUM!🤤
